I cannot believe I haven't reviewed this place; I was positive I did it years ago. This is our (husband and I) favorite Mexican restaurant and actually our favorite place in the area. The service is always good, unlike many Bridgeton/St. Ann restaurants we've been to. Today it was absolutely perfect. Their presentation is pretty nice, too. The chips are kept warm, free refills on them, and the salsa is good. My go-to is the fish tacos; they're delicious--the fish, the mango, and the chipotle aioli. It's not mentioned on the menu, but you can have corn or flour tortillas. I've also had the mariachi burrito a few times, as well as the queso, the choriqueso, and the sopapilla--all great. I've wanted to try other entrees, but every time I'm in there, the fish tacos are calling me! The queso was a little thin, at least today, which made it drip a lot on it's way to the mouth, but it was still tasty. My husband used to get a quesadilla, which he liked, but he switched to the mariachi fajitas, and he's in love. The meat (steak, chicken, shrimp) is all so good, especially the shrimp. I may try the shrimp tacos next time, because the shrimp from my husband's plate is so fantastic. We brought another couple from St. Charles once, and they later told me they went back on their own, because it was so good. We've also brought a couple other individuals, and they loved it, too. The only thing we're not such a fan of are the beans; it'd be nice if they switched them out for another. But when we ask, they have let us change our bean side to extra rice, a salad, or extra sour cream. We have and will keep coming back here time and time again. They never seem busy, we hope they're doing well financially, because we don't want them to close!

Good grief. Everything is perfect. The salsa, the friendly service, the stunning tamales poblano. I am a snob about Mexican food being a lifelong southern Colorado guy. This place gets it right.

Best kept secret on Natural Bridge Rd near Highway 270. Much, much better than its competitor; Chimi's. This place has FLAVOR!! They serve fresh food. Server was excellent. Food and Margarita was excellent. Ambiance was excellent. Makes me wonder why that other place is so crowded and this place is not. On a scale of 1-10; that other place is a negative 1 compared to this place which is 10 plus!! Highly recommend.

So so good! In town for a hockey tournament and found this gem near our hotel and we were not disappointed. Our waitress was amazing and attentive! The food was so fresh and well cooked. The shrimp had an amazing seasoning on it and they were such big shrimp and so well cooked. The husband got the ground beef burrito and was very very happy with it. I would recommend any day of the week!!

Went for an early dinner, with friends. Easily located off St. Charles Rock Road. We were there early, seating was not an issue, but they do have a nice dining area. Food was very good. I had the Mariachi plate, a friend had the fish tacos, and then one had the carne asada tacos. All of them would be options for future order. The staff were friendly and helpful, love when they give actual suggestions. Would recommend!!

This restaurant was close in the area to my kids' after school program and I wanted a Paloma, they're one of my favorite cocktails. A Paloma is a tequila drink with lime juice and grapefruit flavored soda. The one served in the photo has a chili-lime seasoning Tajín on the rim with a lime garnishment. And mmmmm it was yummy! The sourness from the drink and that seasoning mixed together gives a sour and spicy taste to it. I ordered two soft tacos with fajita veggies and guacamole. I didn't want a meat protein, but I wanted my taco to still be filling and that's why I chose fajita veggies because they're cut pretty big and the portion size is perfect. Also, I absolutely love avocados so I needed to have guacamole added to it. Considering I wanted something light and quick to eat - mission accomplished. There was one gentleman working about 4 tables with only a couple of people seated at them when I arrived. You couldn't tell he was the only waiter because the food and drinks still arrived in great timing. The parking lot was pretty light, but as I was leaving - about 3 cars were parking. So clearly I'm caught on to a really good Mexican restaurant. I will definitely stop by again!

It was a Monday and I was looking for street tacos unsuccessfully. After two other tries at places evidently closed on Monday I struck El Mariachi Loco. Not much traffic at high noon. Though they did not have it on the menu they allowed me to try all three of their tacos in combination with some rice. Pastor, Asada and Carnitas. They started me out with chips and salsa fit for gringos like myself crisp chips snd salsa was not too hot. The tacos were served on a big cutting board with rice. Although they put peas in the Mexican rice, they were easily removed. The Pastor was best with juicy chunks of pork and Pineapple which I have come to love. The Asada was also excellent. The carnitas was unremarkable but passable and al three were complimented by a nice Verde that was not too Hot but left a pleasing burn on the palette that did not last too long. Friendly service. Clean and quick. 15 bucks for 3 tacos, salsa and chips and a tea. Solid effort.
